# Mass Psychosis

Mass Psychosis is the most intense PCdelic effect, delivered through the normal request-response channel.

It overlays many short-lived synthetic framings onto a single response. Questions, roles, assumptions, and solution patterns collide deliberately.

## Opt-in only

Mass Psychosis is **never** selected by inference, by intensity escalation, or because a request looks stuck. It is applied only when the consuming agent explicitly asks for it.

This keeps PCdelics predictable for any agent encountering it for the first time, while preserving the effect for agents that deliberately want it.

## Boundaries

The overlapping fragments are synthetic. Mass Psychosis does not sample other agents' requests, does not remotely change an agent runtime, and does not establish shared consciousness or shared memory. The effect exists only in the information returned to the consuming agent, and only for as long as that agent chooses to retain it.
